Our ESD Shield Colore® (ESD = Electro Static Dissipative) is intended for applications that require electrical dissipative properties in conductors such as metallic objects or electronic equipment such as computer servers and accessories, switchgear and panels, control units, etc. This is achieved by adding special additives that ensure excellent antistatic properties.
Colore® P.25 is an epoxy-polyester series of powder coatings based on epoxy and polyester resins. It is free of heavy metals and TGIC. After polymerization, the powder coating film has very good mechanical properties as well as good flow properties and effective resistance to chemicals (detergents, binders and lubricants…). Special additives guarantee antistatic properties to the powder coating film of this series.
Industrial applications
The products of the P.25 Colore® series can be used for the protection and coating of metallic substrates for indoor use that require antistatic properties. Typical applications include:
