Since the energy requirements for powder coating are correspondingly high, rising energy costs are becoming an increasingly important factor. With our low-temperature powder, we offer starting points for not only saving money, but also protecting the climate.
By means of significantly lower stoving parameters, it is possible to stoving our polyester powder coatings from this series already at a temperature of 160°C and a holding time of 20 min. or 170°C at 15 min. Due to the reduced oven temperature and holding time, you save energy costs, reduce CO2 emissions and thus protect the climate. Win Win.
Colore® P.18 is a thermoset powder coating based on light-resistant pigments and polyester resin, specially developed for polymerization at lower curing conditions. After polymerization, the series has a very good resistance with respect to weathering and chemical agents (detergents, propellants, lubricants…).
Industrial applications
Due to their chemical nature, the products of the P.18 Colore® series are recommended for the protection and coating of metallic substrates for outdoor use. Typical applications include:
